France on Film

Strolls along La Seine

sipping coffee in the sunlight

walking forrest paths

Going towards the light, even in winter

——-

Pilgrim, may you know each step is one of significance

as you find home

is both here and there

on this journey of light

Film Photos taken on an Olympus Trip 35 point and shoot with expired Kodak and Fujifilm from my Grandfather’s closet. My Grandfather, Dadu, had a keen love for France and travel. He made his debut in heaven 13 years ago. He often documented the moments of in-between, landscapes, portraits of his beloved Betsey and family. These precious few rolls of film left from his life were found unexposed. In his honor I took them back to France and documented the moments of in-between in Burgundy and Paris. It was a joy to walk along the paths of many beloved friends in a country my Grandfather once lived and loved.
